School attendance is very important to us here at CBMS. Missing school causes a child to get behind their academics and affects learning. A student may miss a total of 9 days with a parent's note and after that it must be with a doctor's note. A parent or doctor's note must be turned in no later than THREE days after the absence. Unexcused absences result in a student receiving zeroes on school work, which will affect the child's academic performance. Missing school is discouraged for any reason unless a child is sick or there is an extenuating circumstance or emergency that would warrant a child missing school. Should there be a situation that comes up, communicating with the school staff and/or administration would be most helpful. Thank you!
